Siddhargal are classified as enlightened people who can live without a death.And they can perform the main siddhis.They are the ancient doctors,scientist,designers who contributed a very lot to the mankind.they were the one who designed the temples and its plans and made them alive .they designed josiyam which says the planitory influences and remidis.they were given siddha medicines to the people.There are lot of siddhas living today also who gives there silent blessing to the mankinds.there are lot of siddhas .but among them 18 siddhars are prominent.And this siddha tradition is a pride for indians and tamil people.
